Nick and his Wife Natalie are native to Kansas City having grown up in Overland Park and Kansas. He is an avid fan of the Chiefs, Royals and Jayhawks. He loves to play all sports, be outdoors and spending time with his family. His favorite bible verse is Ephesians 2:8,9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast" (ESV).
Matt is native to Broken Arrow in Oklahoma and went to Manhattan Christian College. Matt and his wife, Amy, were married on 8-18-18 (so he can remember his anniversary). He loves Indycar and Royals baseball. BBQ is his love language. He enjoys teaching children and youth to read the Bible and love God. His favorite story in the bible is Nehemiah because he listened to his calling from God even when it was difficult.
Craig takes care of administrative tasks and everything within the worship ministry at Westridge. He enjoys learning new instruments, reading, and making coffee. He and his wife, Haley, currently live in Eudora, KS.
Brent has been a part of WCC for most of his life. In addition to his service as an elder, he teaches the young kids as part of the Kid Zone program and also leads senior high youth group activities and is a teacher in the youth Bible study on Wednesday nights. He lives by the principle that the message of God is unchanging, but the methods utilized to reach people must be changed, freshened, and presented in relevant and exciting ways. Brent is a CPA with a large national public accounting firm.
David serves as an elder and also oversees missions at WCC and has been part of WCC for 14 years. David has also had various teaching and preaching roles through the years. David has been a disciple of Jesus for 44 years and has served in various forms of church leadership through the years. He has led small groups off and on for over 30 years. David is passionate about bible study and bible history and archeology. He would like to see all believers making time for the word of God and prayer as well as building friendships in the family of God.
